HKS Hipermax S Coilovers for Toyota GR86 [ZN8 2022+]

Despite having an identical design in suspension as the first generation of the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. As well as the second generation of the Subaru BRZ, HKS's coilover has been re-tuned specifically to enhance the characteristics of the Toyota GR86.

The three existing iterations of the MAX IV GT series becomes the HIPERMAX S as of 2021. Nine years have passed since the launch of the MAX IV GT, and during that time, HKS has developed new technologies. It will be a new series that has all three conventional models characteristics, and been evolved by damping force characteristics, durability, and beauty. The HIPERMAX S series offers the best ride experience so far in HKS suspension history.

HIPERMAX S Technical Features

Dual PVS
HKS has evolved the current preload valve system to a dual preload valve system. This was done in order to suppress the generation of unnecessary damping force during higher piston speeds. It also provides a major improvement in ride comfort without compromising the overall driving performance.

Wide range damping force adjustment mechanism
The improved shape of the Needle jet expands the range of damping force adjustment. This makes it possible to handle driving on a wider range of stages.

Evolution of Bump stop rubber
A new shape of bump stop rubber reduces the body roll and achieves ride comfort at the same time. Which normally cannot be achieved with a general hydro bump stop rubber.

Low friction technology
With advanced tribology technology, HKS has achieved an even higher durability and lower friction than conventional products. This technology aims to contribute to an improved experience in ride quality and performance in handling.
